A new season has arrived & so has first adult (ASY-m) male, in NW Minnesota, on afternoon of 4-12-2026!

That's 4 days ahead of 2025 & 2 days ahead of 2024!

He swooped around checking cubys, tho didn't enter before dark, so not sure if he's a resident?
Was seen atop a power pole ...

Well the new season is upon us!
Migration of Geese, Hawks, Sandhills & Robin's seems weeks ahead, of norm!
Racoon & Skunk are present as well!?
First PM report on 3-10-26 in Fairmont & also one in Dassle on 3-20-26, so far, probably a month earlier than 2025!?

2025 season
Season went well, considering the lite amount of moisture, the High temps & Heavy smoke plaguing the area!
Reports indicate, Lower insect numbers are result of High carbon & chemical levels plaguing the atmosphere!
This may pose future Concerns, since these Avian are totally ...

If you're Crafty, might consider constructing a Natural wood insulated system, /w deep nursery & slide out trays, for PM Comfort, Safety & ease of Maintenance!
Above is usually mounted on a winch pole!

Amish folks are known to build these larger systems, which will support a nice Managable Colony ...

Might check housing, using a Brite light, once it gets dark 🤔
Might hear them, Sounding off at that time as well.
