One near Newfolden, 1 near Viking, 3 near TRF, all Rural.
I know of 3 still waiting, in those areas.
Please post, with your questions n thoughts, regarding
getting Started in this Endeavor.

High you all
Did your Colony size increase or remain steady, did Fledged numbers change 🤔
Anyone in the Group, with Fledge numbers to share?
Anyone else with Fledge numbers or who had PM visitors, and would like to share?
Our pair numbers increased by just 4, but our Fledged
Numbers increased to 82, up from 47 in 2019!
Overall 2020 was a great year for PM, hear in NW MN 🙂

Hi there,
My colony went from 54 pair to 60 pair in 2020 season. Super fledge rate of 92% with 285 babies that successfully took first flight. The dry summer made for zero mites at my colony. I hope everyone had as good of a year. Now it is preparation time for 2021.
Nest checks, supplement feeding and good landlord practices make for a healthy colony.

Nice Fledge percentage, noticed one thing about Hosting Smaller Colony, its much easier to Witness
Fledge n Percentage tends to be Higher!
We noticed as season progressed, n moisture decreased, blo fly pressure dropped off as well.👇

I love the drier end of the season as well. It makes it easier to do nest clean out at the end.
