Dear Friend

I am writing you concerning our plans for the forthcoming year and to ask for your assistance. As you may know, we manage three public Purple Martin sites located in Arvilla, North Dakota; Grand Forks, North Dakota; and Warren, Minnesota. Our association, led by volunteer directors, is now planning phase II of the North Red River Valley Purple Martin Project.

We had raised $1,961 for phase I of the project, and our goal is to raise $5,780 for phase II of the project. Your tax deductable donation of $20 will fund our new public sites for the upcoming year or two. We need each of you, our associates, to support the organization and bring our goal to fruition.

3rd Annual “Outdoor Purple Martin Fest” Survey

The preliminary results indicate a majority of our associates want the 3rd Annual "Outdoor Purple Martin Fest" held near Grand Forks, ND on Saturday, June 7, 2014. We encourage our associates to take the Survey in effort to align the festival to serve your needs. Outdoor Purple Martin Fest is a one day event that alternates between North Dakota (even years) and South Dakota (odd years). Your answers are critical in developing and preparing for the event details.

Community

Our new domain PurpleMartinDakotas.org is the home for our website. Most of our old website links will automatically forward to the new domain. There is a new Community dropdown that allows our visitors to connect as a community of associates. You can read and comment to posts on our Blogpage or you can start discussions on our Forum page. We also have a social presence on Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube. We look forward to connecting with you soon. If there is something that you want to see on our website, please let us know. The idea behind our new Forumpage came from our associates!
